Are you looking for a simple, brief ceremony with just the bare legal requirements and your two witnesses? The Elopement package is for you. We will work together to make sure you have all the paperwork required for a legal ceremony. We will consult briefly about your preferences but will stick mostly to the legal requirements. The cost includes a keepsake copy of your ceremony and the filing of your license with the Registrar General of Ontario. Cost: $300
Are you having a small wedding (up to 75 people) with your closest family and friends? This package will allow you to customize a simple ceremony to your liking. We will consult once in advance regarding the details of your ceremony and ensure your custom touches are included. The cost includes a keepsake copy of your ceremony the filing of your license with the Registrar General of Ontario. Cost: $350
Are you having a big celebration of your love? Will all your family and friends (greater than 75 people) be present for the event? This package will allow you complete customization on your wedding day. We will consult twice before the wedding to ensure all the custom components are seamlessly incorporated into your ceremony. The cost includes a keepsake copy of your ceremony and the filing of your license with the Registrar General of Ontario. Cost: $400
Once you have decided you would like me to perform your ceremony, you should reserve your date ASAP. This requires you to pay a 50% deposit. Once the deposit has been received, I will forward you a package for you to begin thinking about what you want to include in the ceremony. At this point, we can plan the dates of our meetings and I am also available by phone or email to discuss your plans.
Depending on what package you have selected, our last meeting will be at least two to three weeks before the wedding. At this meeting we will discuss the specifics of the wedding and finalize the wording. Some couples choose to have a small, informal rehearsal at this point. I will also be collecting the marriage license from you at this point. A formal rehearsal is possible but not usually necessary.
In order for me to marry you, you must have a marriage license which can be obtained at any municipal office in Ontario. A marriage licence expires three months from the date of issue and can be used anywhere in Ontario. The following offices can issue you a license:
